Our business is growing, and we are looking to hire three Quality Control Clerks to join our Quality Assurance team. Reporting to our Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidates will play a key role in helping to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform all quality control inspection processes within our printed circuit board manufacturing facility.
  • Follow manufacturing assembly procedures and instructions, and perform assigned tasks in compliance with quality, workmanship and company standards.
  • Work with color coded materials and documentation.
  • Perform First Article Inspection for both SMT and PTH circuit board assemblies.
  • Perform SMT In-Process and PTH In-Process Inspection.
  • Perform Post Mechanical Assembly and Final Assembly Inspection.
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, but all interested applicants with transferable skills will be considered.
  • Solid knowledge and skills in printed circuit board assembly.
  • Solid knowledge of electronic component identification.
  • Ability to read and comprehend assembly documentation and drawings.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and good eye / hand coordination.
  • Knowledge of color codes, electronic component identification and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assembly standards.

We currently have a requirement for a full-time conformal coating operator to join the manufacturing team at our facilities in Burnaby, BC. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate have knowledge of conformal coating (the application of acrylic and silicone spray), or be willing to learn!  The working hours will be 9.30 am - 6.00 pm Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under general guidance with limited supervision, the successful candidate will perform conformal coating and other related tasks as assigned;

  • Operate conformal coating machine and inspect results with an ability to communicate and report on key quality, output data and possible improvements to higher level operators or supervisors;

  • Perform masking and demasking processes as needed;
  • Perform additional support to the mechanical assembly department as needed;
  • Observe all safety procedures and precautions.

Job Skills:

Reporting to our Inventory Supervisor, the successful candidate will be a key member of the supply chain team, and will ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify all incoming customer supplied materials, components and mechanical hardware in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
  • Review pick lists and/or Bills of Material for accuracy.
  • Report all shortages and/or non-conformance items in a timely manner.
  • Label kits clearly and update all department related documents.

  • Champion manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

We currently have a requirement for a full-time Electro-mechanical assembler to join our manufacturing operations at our facility in Burnaby BC. Reporting to our Production Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under general guidance with limited supervision, the successful candidate will perform electro-mechanical assembly and other related assembly tasks as assigned.
  • Follow moderately detailed assembly procedures and instructions while performing assigned tasks in compliance with quality workmanship and company standards.
  • Use tools or operate power driven equipment to drill, rivet, insert parts or components, cut and shape components, crimp, connect wires, wire wrap, perform wiring and prepare wires. Wires may include shielded wires, and solder sleeve assemblies, and tasks may include strip, tin, twist and wire identification by tagging.
  • Operate Go / No go test equipment.
  • Work with colour coded materials.
  • Perform washing, degreasing, masking, spraying preparation, unmasking and touch-up operations for conformal coating or other applications.
  • Install or assemble plates, gaskets, grommets, heatsinks, components, sub-assemblies, etc. using fasteners and/or adhesives.
  • Perform basic soldering operations, part making, lacing, and making cable assemblies or wire harnesses.
  • Operate vacuum chambers, ovens, scales, caulking guns, etc.
  • Mix adhesives, chemical solutions, potting and coating compounds in required precise proportions; clean and maintain containers, applicators and spray equipment in good working order.
  •  Operate wave solder and lead-trimming equipment.
  • Report problems and rejections of first-off product to higher level operators or supervisors for correction.
  • Observe all safety procedures and precautions.
