Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Supply Chain Manager will ensure fast, efficient and dependable operations through strong support of their planning, procurement and inventory management teams. The goal? Provide a seamless customer experience at the lowest total cost.

Job Responsibilities:

  • In alignment with corporate and operational goals, develop a supply chain strategy for a portfolio of high mix/low volume assemblies
  • Develop, implement and monitor key performance indicators to measure performance of the supply chain, and determine/drive corrective actions
  • Mentor and manage team members through methods that include training and evaluation, day-to-day guidance and feedback, and allocation of resources – because a company is only as successful as its people
  • Accountable for developing and executing supplier strategies, ensuring lowest total cost across all spend categories (Direct - PCB, passive and active components, and Indirect; MRO, logistics, supplies, services)
  • Utilize a team of purchasing professionals to ensure materials availability
  • Develop, implement and optimize advanced planning processes and technologies to create total transparency - from procurement through manufacturing to our customers dock
  • SI&OP design, integration and management
  • Accountable for production planning to ensure most optimized utilization of resources in collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager and Customer Focus Teams
  • Develop innovative warehouse strategies including automation, mobile technologies and data analytics
  • Accountable for physical inventory setup, control and disposition
  • Accountable for all Supply Chain systems data integrity

Job Skills:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review, develop and maintain Quality Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain the internal QMS to ensure it conforms to ISO 9001 latest requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective training in relation to quality assurance.
  • Evaluate work processes using SOPs and work instructions.
  • Report to top-level management on QA performance against objectives and targets.
  • Administer the Dorigo Quality Database, monitor and review data, and generate reports.

Job Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
  • One years' experience in a similar role at within an EMS environment is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, ERP, IPC-610 and other related standards.
  • ASQ CQE certification an asset,

  • Inspect and verify all incoming customer supplied materials, components and mechanical hardware in accordance with company procedures and guidelines and working with inventory control clerks.

  • Review pick lists/or Bills of Material for accuracy.

  • Report all shortages and/or non-conformance items in a timely manner.

  • Label kits clearly and update all department related documents.

  • Perform regular inventory counts and notify Purchasing Department if there are stock shortages of commonly used items/supplies.


Job Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Good knowledge of general electronic component identification in both Surface Mount and Pin Through Hole components for PCB assemblies.

We are looking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler to champion speed, dependability and visibility within our operations to exceed customer expectations for on-time delivery.

In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for overall planning, scheduling, releasing, and tracking of end-to-end production work orders.  The Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler will create, monitor, and report on the work order status, and act as a key liaison between our Order Management and Materials, Manufacturing and Shipping/Receiving teams.

In addition, we will be looking to you for ideas and feedback on systems, tools and processes to support our drive for continual improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate manufacturing schedules using the best combination of tools and systems
  • Actively manage the release and movement of work orders through all manufacturing operations 
  • Proactively identify and communicate any risk of delay due to labour and material bottlenecks, and produce corrective action plans in conjunction with the relevant departments to meet 
  • In collaboration collaboration with functional leadership, generate, monitor, analyze, and report on key planning performance metrics
  • Provide continuous improvement suggestions for the planning and reporting processes
  • Assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of Dorigo Systems procedures and standards

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years planning experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment 
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to track and comply with tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to set priorities and work efficiently
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Strong working knowledge of software applications; ERP systems, Office 365, collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain systems, and their impact on planning
  • Strong understanding of shop floor control, capacity planning and MRP

     

  • Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
  • Expeience in EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) industry an advantage.

  • Perform First Article Inspection for both SMT and PTH circuit board assemblies
  • Perform SMT In-Process and PTH In-Process Inspection
  • Perform Post Mechanical Assembly and Final Assembly Inspection
